Can I use 2 waves in standalone to control midi in my DAW??
Hi, I bought 2 waves and wanted to use both my hands to control expressions once I laid down my midi notes.
In non standard mode I can assign a function and midi cc to either ring A or B. But as soon as I swap to standalone, that functionality is lost. And it seems like I can only work with one ring for standalone midi. Have I missed something or is this not possible?
Thanks,
Johan

Hi Johan,
Thanks for dropping by!
Using the rings in standalone mode will allow all eight functions to be configured for both rings, but they'll operate independently.
Currently, we only support 8 functions per preset in Softwave. If using two rings, they're split between them. We'll definitely look into expanding this to eight functions per ring in a future update.
Hope this helps!:-)
Having used two Waves with two Wavefronts for 4 years, using 11 out of 12 controls, and now thinking about doing some stuff with VCV Rack / DAW, I'm very disappointed. Only 8 controls! So I can't replicate my controls (with many many hours of thinking and physical training) with Softwave.
I know there might be some workaround, like using CV to midi module with Wavefront, or using one Wave with WIDI Master and other with Softwave, but c'mon! 8 controls limitation really sucks!
