Set Active Mode Via External MIDI in Standalone Mode

Idea is to allow an external midi message to set the Active mode on and off when in Standalone Mode. I am thinking of cases when, for example, you are playing the guitar and want to enable active mode but cannot remove your thumb from the strings or perhaps you are holding a plectrum. Although you would have to move your right hand to generate Wave midi, it would save time trying to turn Active mode on and off with your thumb. A foot toggle switch could turn Active mode on and off. 

Or you could have the Wave on your left hand and move the guitar neck to send Wave midi without removing your fingers from the fretboard. A better idea!
