Softwave not recognising Bluetooth on Macbook Pro/Sonoma 14.4

I'm getting a 'No Bluetooth LE adaptor found' message when launching Softwave 13.0 on a new Macbook Pro (OS 14.4 Sonoma). The Mac's bluetooth is working OK and picking up other devices.

I've been using Softwave 12.3 problem-free on OS 10.14.5 (Mojave), and have tried that version with the Sonoma OS, but the same warning pops up.

Any help welcome.

    Hello John,

    Can you make sure that Softwave has Bluetooth permissions through System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Bluetooth ?
