Software not responsive to Wave

Software shows that Wave is connected but does not respond to any hand gesture or clicking Wave buttons.

I updated Software to the latest version and it did prompt a firmware update. No response in Software from Wave.  I've tried deleting the Wave from Software and from the MIDI set up in Mac (OS 14), then reconnecting.  Software "sees" Wave but won't respond to hand gestures. Also, selecting presents in Software don't change in Wave.

Any suggestions?

    It's under the second item there - not exactly the same issue since the software said it was connected and just wasn't registering any commands. But I found that following those instructions to the letter (it doesn't work unless you specifically disconnect the ring using the X button in the Softwave menu) fixes it every time. It does happen entirely too often, though, and I hope they fix it soon.
