Can I turn 'vibrato' on and off using a switch on the ring?

  Yes, by default, it is the middle button: https://genkiinstrumentshelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013792738-Wave-s-configuration-panel

  Please note that you can not mute individual functions with a switch, but you can disable and enable all functions at the same time with the buttons on Wave.

  You can activate/deactivate all the ring's functionality by pressing the middle button. This works.
